As a Principal Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization, you provide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Leverage your advanced architecture capabilities to identify, communicate, and mitigate risk, and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive best-in-class outcomes.

• Advises cross-functional teams on technology selections and decisions to achieve target state cybersecurity on improvements to current cybersecurity parameters
• Develops multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities
• Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks on the public cloud for new system design patterns and process templates
• Develops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Serves as the function’s go-to subject matter expert and drives thought leadership within the product line
• Contributes to the development of technical methods in cybersecurity in line with the latest product development methodologies
• Creates durable, reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in cybersecurity architecture that can be applied and reused across businesses, functions, and systems
• Fluent in one or more programming languages
• Deep knowledge of one or more software or applications
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable, in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines
• Ability to present and effectively communicate with senior leaders and executives
• Understanding of the business and knowledgeable of latest risk trends in the internal and external environments
• Practical cloud native experience
• Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager

Company Overview

We're seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead cybersecurity initiatives for our clients. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.), and an understanding of vulnerability management, cloud security, risk management and DevSecOps programs.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Malvern, PA or Charlotte, NC with a hybrid schedule of three days in office and two days remote.

Enterprise Application Cybersecurity Engineer

Key Role:

​

Perform security reviews based on the Application security stack philosophies and standards, with a primary responsibility for leading Application security outcomes in collaboration with technical sector experts. Provide an integrated security ecosystem to deter, detect, defend, and respond to business-impacting security, operational security, and risk issues related to applications and their configurations. Leverage skills in independently conducting technical analysis of security and business problems, as well as threats, incidents, investigations, workforce protection, and other general security-related issues. Communicate and participate in coordinating response and defensive actions over a variety of security disciplines, disseminating technical information as appropriate in support of Booz Allen Hamilton's critical business, go-to-market, and operational infrastructure needs. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

• Lead Application security outcomes in collaboration with technical sector experts
• Provide an integrated security ecosystem to deter, detect, defend, and respond to business-impacting security, operational security, and risk issues
• Conduct technical analysis of security and business problems, as well as threats, incidents, investigations, workforce protection, and other general security-related issues

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with Application development, such as development, testing and building
• 3+ years of cybersecurity solution involvement, such as writing secure code, OWASP, or involved in application penetration testing or remediation
• Experience with application security solution configuration management, including policy creation, configuration tuning, and change management for common Industry cyber solutions, including WAF tools, GitHub and AS, AppScan, Contrast, or Vera
• Experience with application cybersecurity DevSecOps capabilities, such as Ansible, Terraform, or WebInspect
• Experience with application cyber logging and building queries, such as Splunk to gain a further understanding of configuration control quality
• Knowledge of the application Life Cycle and perspectives of utilizing security tools, processes and policies throughout
• Knowledge of key cyber threats including nation state actors, malware and ransomware, command and control infrastructures, and mitigations
• Knowledge of key cyber processes, such as security incident handling, risk posture measurement, and change management
• Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and drive closure
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with a wide variety of programming and scripting languages
• Knowledge of the applications of Artificial Intelligence in security
• Ability to use databases for reporting, including SQL language
• Ability to design, deploy, and maintain security solutions and configurations in enterprise class organizations with over 100 Applications of various criticality

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
