Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to support federal government projects, focusing on securing Salesforce environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ensuring Salesforce security configurations, implementing security policies and controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, and protecting against cyber threats. You will also be responsible for compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and other relevant regulations.

  • Ensure Salesforce security configurations align with best practices and federal requirements.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, controls, and frameworks within Salesforce environments.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits on Salesforce systems.
  • Manage identity and access controls, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents within Salesforce platforms.
  • Develop and implement strategies for data encryption and protection.
  • Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and other federal cybersecurity regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security issues and improve overall system security.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and Salesforce-specific vulnerabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Salesforce security and federal government regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, and other relevant security compliance standards.
  • Hands-on experience with identity and access management, MFA, and SSO solutions in Salesforce.
  • Proficient in vulnerability assessments, audits, and incident response related to cloud-based platforms like Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of data protection strategies, encryption techniques, and cybersecurity best practices.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for executing the security program at GreenState. They monitor security controls, track and gather security metrics, analyze vulnerabilities, promote security awareness, manage risk, and respond to security threats. This position provides security guidance to project teams delivering business solutions, performs risk assessments of technology-related assets, and researches industry threat trends. Additional duties include maintenance and improvement of the security program.

Salary range for this position is $103,793.30 - $121,346.42 with a progressive benefit package.

  • Develops, implements, and maintains security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Prepares and maintains comprehensive security documentation.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports security metrics to measure the effectiveness of the security program.
  • Monitors framework controls and regulatory issues (NIST CSF, PCI, etc.).
  • Collects and organizes evidence for internal and external audits and assessments.
  • Advises and assists with operational and information security incidents.
  • Provides information security input in support of organizational project initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a related cybersecurity role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-starting, and motivated
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to assess risk and make control recommendations
  • Experience with security frameworks (NIST CSF, PCI, etc.)
  • Experience working with Windows OS, Linux, and Active Directory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cybersecurity tools (scanners, EDR, SIEM, etc.)
  • Proficiency in networking and operating systems

This position reports to the Information Systems Security Officer.

This position is not responsible for the supervision of others.

  • Develop and continuously evaluate and evolve Honest’s information security roadmap and posture.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive enterprise information security and risk management program, in collaboration with our Compliance team and other business partners.
  • Align and prioritize actions within the cyber security program that align with our organization’s objective goals, meets the needs of our partners and focuses on data protection, threat management, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, HITRUST, and other applicable standards.
  • Oversee incident response planning, and the investigation of any security incidents, ensuring timely reporting to the executive team and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with our business partners across the organization to integrate security best-practices across the organization.
  • Oversee and evaluate third-party security assessments to ensure vendor compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards. Collaborate with both our People and Culture and Marketing teams on security training and awareness programs for all staff to help foster a culture of security awareness.
  • Provide regular reports to the executive team and board on the status of the information security program and emerging threats.
  • Implement, manage, and enforce information security directives as mandated by Federal and State regulations, including but not limited to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures and provide oversight of functional areas including, but not limited to: workforce training involving confidentiality, integrity and availability of data within Honest’s electronic systems and cloud-hosted data.
  • Work across the organization to ensure that the access control, disaster recovery, business continuity needs of the organization are properly addressed.
  • Conduct research in and stays current with security vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field of study required; Master’s degree in business or IT fields considered a plus
  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology Enterprise and Infrastructure with at least 5 years in leadership roles
  • 5+ years of experience of operational delivery in a healthcare environment
  • Thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art information security practices
  • Thorough knowledge of technical infrastructure security components and integrated computerized rules-based systems
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal and State privacy and security laws and regulations and industry best practices as they relate to healthcare information security
  • Ability to manage the security of health information across a widely dispersed workforce with a variety of information mediums
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply technical information and business level requirements
  • Ability to analyze and resolve security problems quickly
  • Ability to direct and evaluate the work of lower-level staff and vendors
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse constituency

The base pay range for this role is $162,700.00 - $191,100.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
