Summary Information about the Role

Regeneron GEO IT is seeking a Senior Architect with advanced expertise in the ServiceNow Security domain, particularly in Vulnerability Response, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), and Security Operations (SecOps). You will be an integral part of the Regeneron GEO IT (Global Enterprise Operations). You will help provide leadership for the entire platform and collaborate closely with IT colleagues with a focus on the Information Security Office. You will help define business requirements and leverage the ServiceNow platform to configure solutions that align with the platform’s strategic direction. You will provide expert consultation to all partners with a focus on the Information Security team, provide roadmap consultation and ensure the ServiceNow platform aligns with business strategies and governance decisions.

  • Design and develop new ServiceNow applications and services with a focus on Vulnerability Response, IRM, and SecOps.
  • Make strategic recommendations and actively participate in implementing new ServiceNow requirements related to the platform with a focus on security and compliance.
  • Take ownership of complex platform and security-related business requirements and work towards their successful implementation.
  • Provide architectural controls and conduct impact analysis for new platform related requirements.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improving processes and solutions, including the consolidation of similar security needs.
  • Contribute to ServiceNow software releases by configuring features and functionality.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the entire platform to ensure Regeneron is fully using the platform’s potential with a solid focus on Security modules for road map planning.
  • Create and maintain a detailed view of the ServiceNow architecture.
  • Align the ServiceNow platform’s capabilities with established business strategies.
  • Assist with estimating release-level effort, ensuring all platform aspects are considered.
  • Optimize the stability and usability of ServiceNow through regular application maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience developing technology solutions (Utah or later versions).
  • Minimum of 3 years working as a ServiceNow application developer/system administrator with a focus on security.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise security and architecture, including knowledge of various authentication systems.
  • Strong background in IT service management with an emphasis on security.
  • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow administration and demonstrated experience in developing ServiceNow applications.
  • Experience with database design schemas and data modeling.
  • Experience with middleware and discovery technologies for enhancement.
  • Demonstrated expertise with ServiceNow's incident, change, problem, request, CMDB, and knowledge management applications.
  • Expertise in JavaScript and Web Services development languages, particularly in the context of security.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration, including shell scripting.
  • Must be onsite three days onsite a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Developer with experience in writing scoped applications for enhanced security.
  • Expert knowledge of AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS development languages for designing secure user interfaces.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing ITSM/ITIL software solutions with a strong focus on security.
  • Knowledge of security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).

We are seeking a proven Named Account Manager to join our growing Sales organization. The Named Account Manager role will act as a trusted advisor and implement sales strategies to exceed sales targets within a named list of accounts in the Dallas area.

  • Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend the Arista brand within a named list of enterprise accounts in the Dallas area.
  • You will be responsible for utilizing a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders to address the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and siloed legacy IT systems across the Arista product portfolio including; Software-Driven Cloud Networking platforms, EOS (Open Source Network OS), Cognitive Campus Networking, WI-FI Campus networking, Cloud Vision (Network Automation & Telemetry), Network Monitoring Fabric solutions in addition to NDR, Endpoint and AI driven Network Identity Access security solutions.
  • Meet with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels to present Arista’s value proposition.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in addition to 8+ years of technology sales experience.
  • Proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets
  • You possess relevant data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industry background from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner or end user is a a requirement.
  • Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
  • You possess previous selling experience and technical acumen in one or more of the following areas; Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper converged infrastructure or Cloud computing.

What You'll Do:

  • Review security logs and tune the logging algorithms as appropriate.
  • Perform security assessments on cloud deployments in AWS, Azure, and Google.
  • Participate in system design and architecture reviews as appropriate.
  • Monitor the network for security abnormalities and investigate any issues that occur.
  • Prepare reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused by the breaches. Will be a part of the CSIRT Team.
  • Develop security standards and leading practices for the organization.
  • Research security technologies and drive proof-of-concept evaluations to improve network and production system security.
  • Configure, install and maintain security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoint protection, WAF, wireless security, and network access control.
  • Perform security event monitoring & analysis related to security violations, potential vulnerabilities, and alerts from detection systems.
  • Consult with IT operations staff to drive security initiatives.
  • Provide lead role as a member of the global incident response team.
  • Assist in defining application security policies and guidelines and lead implementation within a multi-team; develop performance indicators to ensure policy compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years' experience with common security tools and applications (Intrusion Detection, Firewall Technologies, EDR, NDR) is required.
  • Working knowledge of Native AWS Security tools (Macie, Guard Duty, Inspector, Control Tower) along with Google Cloud and Azure.
  • Experience with Active Directory and privileged account management.
  • Familiarity with common network, system, and web application attack vectors and related mitigation strategies.
  • Fundamental knowledge of network and web protocols
  • Ability to drive automation through scripting capabilities using Python and PowerShell
  • Successfully working independently, as a key contributor to the IT security team, and leading strategic efforts with many internal and external partners.
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify & propose solutions that improve security capabilities & drive operational efficiencies.
  • Effective communication and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced malware technologies and cloud application security is an advantage.
  • CISSP, GCIH, GSEC, CRISC, or other security certifications are considered a plus.
