About the Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer at NinjaOne, you are not just part of a technology team but a pivotal player in a challenging and innovative environment. In your role, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and ensuring seamless deployment, management, and processes of our IT Operations SaaS products.

Your journey at NinjaOne involves a collaborative and dynamic engagement with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and various stakeholders. By optimizing workflows, building tools, and advancing build and test processes, you ensure our platform's operational and development excellence.

Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, ME, MA, NJ, NC, OR, TX and VA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, if you prefer a hybrid option.

We hire the best software engineers, but experience in our stack can’t hurt: NinjaOne is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, and Postgres, supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. Knowing large-scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design and client-server architecture will help you.

  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to deliver scalable and reliable full-stack services, focusing on improving developer productivity.
  • Provide technical expertise in full-stack development and DevOps best practices.
  • Contribute to developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, facilitating seamless provisioning and deployment of applications.
  • Engage in continuously improving our platform’s architecture, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Assist in deployments and release management across various environments.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance operational efficiency, maintain security compliance, and improve developer experience.
  • Mentor team members in full-stack development and DPE practices.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for production support and offer guidance during business hours and after-hours as needed.
  • Other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development in a cloud-based environment.
  • Background in developer productivity, platform engineering or building internal developer tools.
  • Strong experience in AWS and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies (e.g., AWS Cloud Formation, CDK, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Proficient in Typescript.
  • Knowledgeable in agile tooling (Jira, Confluence), version control systems (Git, BitBucket, GitLab), and CI/CD tools (Circle CI a plus).
  • Experience with both monolithic and container-based application architectures.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, operations, and native cloud application development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and mentor team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology.
  • Experience with React, Java, and Golang (bonus).

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO. For roles based in California or Colorado, the base salary hiring range for this position is $130,000 to $200,000 per year.

Position Summary:

The Cyber Security Analyst reports to the Manager, Cyber Security and is responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts using advanced security information and event management tools. This role identifies potential threats and initiates incident response procedures to mitigate risks and protect the organization's systems and data. In addition, this role triages and reviews security ticket details, ensuring efficient handling by the appropriate personnel and notifying customers of incoming tickets and any workflow hindrances.

  • Monitor security events and alerts using advanced security information and event management tools, analyzing potential threats, and initiating incident response procedures.
  • Triage and review security ticket details to ensure issues are handled efficiently by the proper personnel.
  • Notify customer of all incoming tickets and any issues that will prevent workflow.
  • Handle all customer requests including security configurations, reporting requests, investigations, and all error/issue identification.
  • Troubleshoot product issues.
  • Understand when to escalate tickets to upper management.
  • Provide support for the log management and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
  • Ensure authorized access by investigating improper access, revoking access, reporting violations, and monitoring information requests.
  • Provide installation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of security applications and appliances across all functional departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned including work in other areas to cover absences or relief to equalize peak work periods or otherwise balance the workload.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Cyber Security Assessor at Meriplex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our customer’s digital infrastructure. This position involves conducting rigorous assessments of customer’s cyber security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and evaluating risk management strategies to protect our customer’s information systems and networks.

  • Security Audits: Conduct comprehensive internal and external security audits to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance with established information security standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform detailed risk assessments on information systems and infrastructure to determine potential security threats and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance Checks: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards such as HIPPA, CIS 18, NIST CSF, NIST 800-171 and 53, CMMC, FFIEC, GDPR, and PCI DSS, and prepare for upcoming regulatory changes.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports that outline findings from security assessments, including risk analysis, vulnerabilities, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with departments and customers to implement security measures and practices effectively.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to continually enhance our security framework.

Required Qualifications:
