  • Design, build, and maintain the features for the unified vulnerability and exposure management experience
  • Take part in architecture strategy sessions - design solutions that accommodate the requirements of the various groups across Cortex
  • Collaborate with teams to solve problems, reduce technical debt, and evolve development practices
  • Drive technical best practices and evangelize new technologies within the engineering org

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a professional software engineer writing full stack software with comparatively more frontend experience
  • Strong proficiency in Angular
  • Proficient in Python
  • Experienced and opinionated about frontend development and API development
  • Able to switch between research, design, prototype, and implementation
  • Working knowledge of at least one of the major cloud platforms (eg GCP, AWS, or Azure), preferably GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD process
  • Strong problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React
  • Common understanding of CVEs or Software vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability methodologies
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of how a variety of exploits work and shows skills in enumerating and selecting the correct exploit for a given system
  • Experience with Jenkins or Gitlab Runners
  • Experience with Grafana and Prometheus
  • Experience with StackDriver for log based debugging
  • Experience working in vulnerability management domain

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $126000 - $204500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.

Platform Engineer, Senior

Location: Remote in the United States

The Platform Engineer, Senior must have experience working across a wide variety of Microsoft and other vendor solutions and technologies. Must be able to maintain and troubleshoot solutions that enable security point solutions configuration, administration, management, and support.   • Develop, build, and maintain Microsoft Security technologies across client Azure environments including:

As the Federal Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving net new business opportunities within the Federal Civilian agencies while also growing and maintaining existing client relationships (with specific focus on Dept of Energy).   • The Federal Account Executive is responsible for the end-to-end management of sales opportunities to include bid and win strategies, pricing, teaming, and proposal strategies
  • Works with the Systems Engineers and Solutions Architects to assist in the design of the technical solutions, as well as to identify customer-wide IT and mission parameters and constraints that impact a potential solution. Be a “thought leader” for the group

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. A combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Proven track record of accomplished selling in the Federal Civilian Market. Must have an in-depth understanding of technology trends and issues and their impact in this space
  • Proven ability to develop new sales with prospecting, relationship building and executions skills
  • Proven track record of being a clear communicator and being comfortable in front of large groups as well as executive/C-Level customers
  • Experience selling and working with key virtualization and cloud partners
  • Minimum of five (5) or more years of enterprise sales experience; direct and channel sales experience required
  • selling and value-based selling techniques
  • Be nimble, risk-adverse salesperson who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
