About the role:

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be responsible for building and executing Foodsmart’s security strategy, ensuring the integrity of our gig economy, SaaS, logistics, and health-tech platforms. This leader will safeguard Foodsmart’s assets, establish robust security frameworks, and drive a culture of security across the organization.

  • Lead security strategy: Design and execute an enterprise-wide information security strategy that aligns with Foodsmart’s business goals and evolving threat landscape.
  • Enhance risk management: Develop robust risk assessment and mitigation frameworks, ensuring proactive identification and management of vulnerabilities.
  • Strengthen compliance: Oversee compliance initiatives to meet HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, and other relevant standards, ensuring regulatory alignment across Foodsmart’s operations.
  • Secure gig economy and SaaS platforms: Build and maintain advanced security protocols to protect Foodsmart’s gig-economy logistics systems, SaaS platforms, and member data.
  • Drive innovation: Partner with product and engineering teams to embed security into the design of scalable, tech-driven solutions.
  • Establish privacy program: Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive privacy program to ensure compliance with regulations and build customer trust.
  • Secure AI initiative: Partner with product and engineering teams to secure AI/ML development and deployment. Address AI-specific issues and ensure data privacy compliance.
  • Manage incident response: Lead a proactive and robust incident response program, ensuring resilience and rapid recovery from cybersecurity threats.
  • Cultivate a security-first culture: Develop and implement ongoing training programs that empower employees to prioritize security best practices in daily operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • A strategic leader with extensive experience in cybersecurity for SaaS, gig economy, logistics, e-commerce, or health-tech industries, adept at balancing security with business agility.
  • A trusted executive partner who communicates effectively with boards, leadership teams, and external stakeholders on risk management and strategic security initiatives.
  • A compliance expert with in-depth knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, and other regulatory frameworks impacting health-tech and e-commerce environments.
  • An innovative problem-solver skilled at navigating complex security challenges with scalable, forward-thinking solutions.
  • A champion for data privacy, committed to building and maintaining trust with customers and stakeholders through robust privacy practices.
  • A team builder who fosters collaboration across technical and non-technical teams while cultivating a strong culture of cybersecurity awareness.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in information security, including executive-level roles such as CISO, VP of Security, or similar.
  • Strong familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, and NIST, with a proven ability to implement them in regulated industries.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cutting-edge security technologies, including threat intelligence platforms, endpoint protection, SIEM tools, and secure data pipelines.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience engaging boards, executive teams, and external partners on security strategies.
  • Strong experience developing and implementing privacy programs, including policy creation, compliance monitoring, and incident response.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA and experience working with cloud-based systems like AWS or GCP.

Position

Due to incredible growth, we are looking for our next experienced Major Account Director. The role is remote, however, we would require potential candidates to be based out of Chicago or Dallas and travel when required. The role offers a competitive salary and OTE, plus other benefits.

Reporting to the VP Sales – Americas, the Major Account Director will be responsible for the generation, development and conversion of new and existing business that meets the client’s business requirements and objectives. Consultative sales skills and the ability to effectively present and communicate Xalient’s value proposition to key decision makers, is key to success.

As a Major Account Director you will initiate, negotiate, and close key strategic account contracts, securing optimum recurring revenues and establishing strong relationships within the client account to ensure ongoing and repeat business. You will also be responsible for the achievement of annual revenue targets and specified gross margins, within existing client accounts into which the Xalient products and services portfolio are sold. Responsibility is for the ongoing relationship, continued and repeat business and creating strategic account plans for Xalient to remain an integral part of the clients’ budgets.

Please only apply if you have a classic technology sales background and experience of our tech which includes (Networking, SD-WAN, Cloud Security and Identity/IAM among many others). You would need a minimum of 10 years’ experience, the last 5 years spent managing large strategic accounts, strategic sales strategies with the ability to communicate at C suite level in large enterprises essential.

▪ Understand the Sales Strategy with the COO. Identify the necessary information, processes, and resources to implement and support it.

▪ Qualify client and sales opportunities to maximize orders and ensure that the solutions offered are within Xalient’s field of competence.

▪ Build and sustain a prospect platform and follow through in an appropriate and timely manner to achieve or exceed the assigned sales targets.

▪ Ensure proactive contact with all prospect clients on a regular and consistent basis. Understand their business requirements and how Xalient can provide a solution in this context.

▪ Promote the Xalient products and services (enhancements/updates/ new initiatives/maintenance) to existing customers by nurturing relationships with key decision makers - and those who influence at all levels within the account - developing strong and consistent relationships.

▪ Understand the clients’ business needs, objectives and practices and present compelling business propositions, concepts, and ideas to clients at senior and board level.

Develop strategic account plans for key customers and provide accurate and timely forecasts as required. Share with the Client to demonstrate how the Company may support the client’s future plans and be an integral part of their own strategy.

▪ Prepare quotations for customers and conclude contracts in accordance with the Company standard procedures, ensuring that all deals and ongoing SLAs are secured and closed appropriately and in a timely manner.

Essential

• 10 years minimum, demonstrable achievement working within IT sales. The last 5 years leading large enterprise accounts. Classic technology sales background and experience of our tech which includes (Networking, SD-WAN, Cloud Security and Identity/IAM among many others).

• Experience implementing strategic sales strategies with the ability to communicate at C suite in large enterprises essential.

• Strong new business and account management capabilities – communication, collaboration and promotion of differentiators and new products to retain long term relationships.

• Able to marshal and manage resources (people, funding, materials, and support) to achieve customer engagement.

• Assertive, organized, methodical, efficient, and able to work on own initiative in and out of office.

• Excellent presentation, public speaking skills and general product awareness.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced AI Security Solutions Architect to support the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and execution for our rapidly growing AI security solutions. This critical role will be instrumental in accelerating the adoption of our solutions that help customers secure the creation and usage of AI applications, including homegrown AI and popular generative AI tools.

  • Define and execute on our GTM strategy for AI security solutions, focusing on accelerating customer adoption of our solutions for securing the creation and usage of AI applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive pipeline generation, customer engagements and market penetration
  • Support the development and execution of strategies to identify, qualify and convert a robust pipeline of potential customers for AI security solutions
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify key market segments and opportunities
  • Lead customer-facing activities, including presentations, demonstrations and proof-of-value (POVs)
  • Engage in technical conversations with customers regarding AI security challenges and solutions, including topics such as securing RAG models, prompts, vector databases, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including C-level executives, security and IT leaders
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product management and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective go-to-market execution
  • Be an evangelist to further educate customers of generative AI and positioning PANW for securing AI projects

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical professional experience including 3+ years of experience in AI and related fields, with a strong focus on technical sales, strategy and execution
  • Proven track record of success contributing to high-performing technical sales or solution architecture teams
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning and generative AI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideally, experienced with security solutions and the cybersecurity market, including data security, network security and security applied to generative AI
  • Experience with popular generative AI tools and their security implications preferred
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $222,000 - $304,500/yr.
