• Provide project management to ensure completion on time, within budget, and within scope of IT projects.
• Define project scope, duration, and resources.
• Responsible for project scheduling, tracking issue management, risk management, change management, and status reporting.
• Plan and coordinate work with teams and business resources. Lead and guide the work of technical staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters/ equivalent in CS, CIS, or related field
• 1 year of IT experience including C++, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Linux, Azure, Amazon Web Services, Active Directory, Microsoft Graph API, Django, Nginx, Microsoft SQL Server, Elasticsearch/Opensearch, SQLLite, MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB, xUnit, Powershell Pester, Apache JMeter, and Fitnesse.
• Position requires travel / relocation to various unanticipated U.S. locations.

• Discover and create proof of concepts for new security vulnerabilities related to AI Models, AI Infrastructure, and data usage.
• Design practical product level mitigations to prevent new and novel attacks on AI systems for our customers.
• Leverage Palo Alto Network’s security data to derive new insights that will inform threat trends and protections needed for AI systems.
• Working from within the office of the NetSec CTO to provide research across the large Network Security portfolio at Palo Alto Networks.
• Serve as an AI security subject-matter expert when collaborating with Palo Alto Networks leadership and industry partners.

Your Experience

​

• Deep practical knowledge of both theoretical and production AI systems, including infrastructure, models, and data usage.
• Proven track record of discovering security issues related to AI systems.
• End to end experience of taking new security discovering and developing/deploying protections into a production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferably demonstrated through technical blogs, published research, and talks.

Preferred Qualifications

​

• MS or Doctoral Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, related to artificial intelligence, computer security, application security, information security, network security, or cryptography is preferred.

Compensation Disclosure

​

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $182000 - $295000/YR. • Develop, optimize, test, and maintain a high-performance Chrome extension
• Work on both frontend and backend tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize features

Required Qualifications

• Experience in full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Good understanding of web application architecture, including frontend and backend
• Positive ‘can-do’ mindset, able to work independently and within a team
• Experience with at least one frontend framework (React preferred)

• Big advantage - Experience with Chrome Extensions
• Advantage - Experience with Go-lang
