About the Job:

AT&T is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legacy Integration Lead to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will manage the operationalization of the Strategic UAM portfolio including engineered solutions such as SailPoint, CyberArk, Silverfort and Delinea. You will work closely with development, Architect, and Product teams to support. This UAM Integration Lead role is required to ensure that all operational commitments in support of the UAM portfolio are met. This position with actively engage with CSO Product Development, Program Management, Application Delivery, Vendors and external auditors. The position is empowered to serve as a decision maker on behalf of the Platform Operations organization.

  • Includes ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various cyber related projects. Analysis, of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk.
  • Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&Ts cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams.
  • Develops policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers.
  • Applies measures to block malicious code and applications. Includes forward looking research, planning and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cyber security threats, and enhance our mitigation techniques and technology solutions.
  • Areas of work in this are include, but are not limited to:
  • Cyber Incident Response, cyber product testing, cyber risk & strategic analysis, cyber research, cyber awareness & training, cyber vulnerability detection & assessment, cyber intelligence & investigation, cyber networks & systems engineering, cyber security application testing, cyber digital forensics & forensics analysis, cyber software assurance, cyber application development & testing, cyber IoT planning & testing, cyber policy & requirements & standards.
  • This career step requires intermediate level experience. Responsible for cyber security areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications while providing protection for AT&T, our customers and our vendors/partners.
  • Works with senior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks. Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the cyber security programs.

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Our Senior Cybersecurity, earns between $130,700.00-$196,100.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for overseeing the design, development, implementation, and support of our scalable, modern, and durable security capabilities. This role requires a technical leader with a strategic mindset, capable of managing a high-performing team of engineers, and adept at working in a complex highly regulated environment. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to align cybersecurity capabilities with business goals, ensure proper security governance and risk management, and mentor team members in their professional growth.

  • Lead engineering teams across multiple security domains, including staff allocation, mentoring, enhancing, and maintaining best-of-class development across multiple teams and disciplines.
  • Develop and deliver strategic cyber security initiatives/ technical capabilities which align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and budget.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise and ensure implementation of information security architecture, risk management standards, best practices, and systems/processes to provide information privacy/protection.
  • Work with security architects, enterprise architects, capability owners, engineering managers, and engineers to design and deploy mature development practices/methodologies.
  • Build partnerships with business unit and technology leaders to establish a validated capacity/demand plan that enables delivery of the security capabilities roadmap and technology investments.
  • Monitor controls to ensure that the availability, reliability, performance, and service levels meet or exceed established thresholds.
  • Advance innovative cybersecurity approaches that drive dramatic increases in business value, improve Truist’s security posture, reduced time to deliver, and reductions in total cost of ownership.
  • Collaborate with risk partners to ensure security solutions meet regulatory and internal policy requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, computer science or equivalent and related education, training or experience.
  • Twenty (20) or more years direct experience in financial services, cybersecurity, or information technology (IT)
  • Fifteen (15) or more years direct experience managing teams, processes, and technology related to information security.
  • Ten (10) or more years' experience managing security engineering teams of teams (25+ teammates)
  • Fifteen (15) or more years’ experience in managing, delivering, and maturing cyber capabilities that directly support Network Security, Vulnerability Management, End Point Security, Application Security, Identity and Access Management, Incident Detection and Response.
  • Proven history of managing multiple, concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of personnel (executive to entry level).
  • Experience in managing numerous vendor partnerships to ensure the appropriate levels of support for cyber capabilities.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and financial industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX, GLBA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business, cybersecurity, computer science or equivalent and related education, training or experience.
  • Experience with large bank risk management frameworks and managing remediation of risk issues.
  • Knowledge of threat intelligence and incident response best practices.
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or Cloud Security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty).
  • Experience managing budgets for technology teams, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and investments.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices, including integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and working with containerized environments.
  • Experience with automation tools and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Clarity)

Other Job Requirements / Working Conditions:

  • Visual / Audio / Speaking: Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.
  • Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding: Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.

  • Develops, implements, and monitors a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.

  • Oversees the performance management and development process for the assigned IT team members and performs performance management duties, development planning and coaching for direct reports.
  • Acts as a resource for assigned IT team members to answer questions and solve complex problems.
  • Manages assigned IT budget, technology and other resources, workload and customer requests for IT services. Ensures adherence to all Company policies and procedures and Compliance responsibilities.
  • Ensures data quality, adherence to IT security guidelines, profitability and other risk-related metrics for self and members of the team.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises information Security managers and project managers/scrum masters and other IT team members and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. These responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting performance and salary reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to further their skills and knowledge; creating and monitoring development plans; setting performance expectations/goals; forecasting staffing needs and planning for peak times and absences; enforcing department policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree required in Business, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of general IT-related job experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years managing and leading related IT and information security team.
  • Experience in cyber security with working knowledge of data analysis, risk assessment and mitigation, investigation methods, incident management concepts and practices, with background in intrusion detection and forensic analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCISO professional certifications.

The current range for this position is $160,745.90 - $287,738.43. This range is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
