Job Description

Your Career

Help build what is next. Our Cloud Management Platform is a public cloud delivered management platform to manage all Palo Alto Networks Next generation network security solutions. It’s an easy-to-use, scalable and secure platform to operationalize and provide visibility using the Palo Alto Networks network security portfolio.

This role is located at our dynamic Santa Clara California headquarters campus and in office 3 days a week.

  • Be part of technical leadership in distributed systems development

Required Skills:

  • Recent and proficient experience with Go, Python, or similar programming languages
  • Passion for technology coupled with pragmatic problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with many cross-functional teams with an emphasis on end-to-end delivery
  • Ability to break down complex problems in ambiguous areas

Preferred Skills:

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts
  • Experience working with systems at scale
  • Familiarity with security products and best practices
  • Background in AI/ML technologies and applications
  • Experience with graph databases (GraphDB)

Education:

  • MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent. 10+ years experience.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between: $185k - $220k /YR.   • Drive cross-functional execution of GTM and other operational strategies
  • Analyze and refine our current go-to-market processes and sales motion, to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Structure and package analysis of business impact and make business recommendations to iterate and change
  • Ensure on-time delivery of initiatives, program reporting, and projects with high-quality and clear communication
  • Build strong relationships across the sales organization to drive initiatives and receive continuous feedback from key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of work experience is required
  • 2+ years of top management consulting experience (post business school or equivalent) with project scope relevant go-to-market or enterprise technology experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with solid business judgment and demonstrated project management experience
  • A go-getter who is curious to learn GTM knowledge and can quickly problem-solve to drive practical solutions across teams
  • Exceptional at cross-functional collaboration to set vision and drive complex problems into execution results
  • The role is based in HQ (Santa Clara, CA) and working in the office at least 3x a week is required.

Unit 42 Consulting is Palo Alto Network's security advisory team. Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of field sales experience focusing on key customer accounts and delivering value to Enterprise or Major-level accounts in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Extensive platform selling experience in complex sales with multiple buying centers.
  • Established trusted relationships with CIOs and CISOs with the ability to influence and drive strategic conversations.
  • Expertise in applying complex solution sales methodologies to drive results.
  • Experience working with channel partners and a deep understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment while collaborating effectively with sales engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as necessary to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling SIEM, EDR or CNAPP (DevSecOps, CloudOps) solutions is highly preferred.
  • Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion within a matrixed sales organization is preferred.
