The Offensive Security Purple Team at Capital One is a collaborative and innovative team that works to reduce cyber risk by proactively improving security posture. The team is composed of seasoned offensive and defensive cyber experts who work closely with tech and cyber partners to plan, coordinate, test, and report on defensive gaps and control weaknesses.

The Purple Team Lead will be a highly experienced and knowledgeable cybersecurity professional who will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's overall cyber defense posture. This individual will not only lead and manage the Purple Team but also work collaboratively across various departments to identify and address security vulnerabilities, proactively improve detection and response capabilities, and ensure the continuous improvement of the enterprise's security controls.

The successful candidate for this position will be part of an exciting and dynamic environment to build and deliver industry-leading cyber capabilities to continuously protect and defend Capital One’s brand, systems and data. Offensive Security is part of the Cyber Operations and Intelligence program and assists with identifying opportunities to enhance Capital One’s information security posture against a broad range of cyber threats, and develop strategies to most effectively address those threats.

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive Purple Team strategy that aligns with the organization's overall security objectives.
  • Leading and coordinating Purple Team exercises that emulate real-world attack scenarios to assess the effectiveness of existing security controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with Red and Blue Teams to facilitate knowledge sharing, improve communication, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the organization's security operations.
  • Analyzing Purple Team exercise results and providing actionable insights to relevant stakeholders to drive remediation efforts and improve the organization's security posture.
  • Staying abreast of emerging threats and attack techniques to ensure that the Purple Team's strategy and exercises remain relevant and effective.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to Purple Team members to foster professional development and enhance the team's overall capabilities.
  • Clearly and effectively convey technical information and results to diverse audiences, including senior management and those without a technical background.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 6 years of operational cyber security experience
  • At least 4 years of experience on a Hunt or Red team
  • At least 3 years of People Management experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with incident response, threat detection or security operations center processes and workflows
  • At least 2 years of experience with security tools and SIEM platforms
  • At least 2 years of experience with defensive or offensive security concepts, tools and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in developing offensive or defensive tools using scripted and compiled languages
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams through all phases of security engagements
  • 3+ years of experience with security event response
  • OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GXPN, CRTO, GCFA or GCIH certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $225,400 - $257,200 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical

New York, NY: $245,900 - $280,600 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical

Plano, TX: $204,900 - $233,800 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical

Richmond, VA: $204,900 - $233,800 for Sr Manager, Cyber Technical

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.

  • Contracts: Draft, review, and revise contracts, NDAs, service agreements, Vendor Agreement and other legal documents, Ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements; Monitor contract deadlines, renewals, and obligations. Required Qualifications:

About the Role:

The role of the Deal Desk Analyst is to enable profitable revenue growth for Socure by overseeing the opportunity management process and improve our ability to efficiently win and close deals. We are looking to bring on a member to the Revenue Operations team who will be the subject matter expert for our configure, price, quote (CPQ) and quote to cash (Q2C) processes.

We are a highly collaborative team with a track record of providing outstanding support to our Commercial organization. This role will partner with our internal Commercial teams to manage deal diligence, complete large/complex deal reviews, and will be a trusted advisor to the Regional Sales VPs and their direct reports.

This position requires very strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across various internal teams to help streamline sales execution, drive consistency, and improve deal velocity.

  • Focus on high quality/compliant quotes, timeliness of quote creation, and a high level of stakeholder collaboration between team members and across the Commercial organization
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams and leadership to eliminate roadblocks slowing quote creation and approval
  • Assist on customer contract execution; including pricing/discount structures, renewal terms, license agreements, and commercial contract consistency
  • Drive and influence comprehensive deal reviews for large, complex deals
  • Ensure appropriate amendments and documentation are associated with each quote
  • Provide regular process improvement/best practice input to finance leadership
  • Ensure quotes are created in compliance to the pricing guidelines
  • Take the initiative in identifying errors or trends and propose solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in a similar role within revenue operations with a strong focus on deal desk execution
  • Experience working with CPQ (DealHub or similar tool), Salesforce, and Excel (Google Sheets)
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and advising commercial and leadership teams on best practices according to best practices and established guidelines
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks for execution
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills

  • Experience within a B2B, consumption-based pricing models

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $80,000-$95,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
