As a Product Delivery Associate in Identity and Access Management, you enable the release of products and features by overcoming obstacles. As an emerging member of the team, you work across the organization and enable the product to continuously deliver value, while gaining skills and experience to grow within your role.

  • Supports delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while highlighting opportunities to improve efficiencies
  • Contributes to change management activities across functional partners and documents adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Documents blockers and impediments to aid with dependency management and resource availability
  • Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to engage stakeholders and cross-functional partners to manage dependencies and timelines
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Works with technical and non-technical stakeholders and the team to specify epics and stories with sufficient discussion and acceptance criteria to ensure successful delivery
  • Organizes work estimates at various levels of granularity to set delivery expectations appropriately and allow informed prioritization
  • Updates stakeholders with timely progress reports, highlighting successes and delivery risks (and mitigation strategies identified)
  • Provides support for incident escalation – directing resource and effort as required
  • Assists in process improvement through constant review both internally and with partner department

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
  • Demonstrated experience or equivalent expertise in product management, project management, or a relevant domain area
  • Exposure to operational management and change readiness workstreams
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Expertise in Identity & Access Management and/or Technology Risk Management
  • Experience producing product artifacts, including use cases, product requirements, user journeys, high-level wire frames, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are critical, to include translating technical and complex concepts/solutions into business friendly proposals
  • Proven experience with Agile development methodologies

BRIEF POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Security & Regulatory Technical Writer will be responsible for documenting the framework to ensure that the security organization’s practices remain observant to security and compliance directives required by North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Nuclear Cyber (10 CFR 73.54), Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Heath Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), cyber risk, etc. The Technical Writer, presents, and trains on the programs and processes required to secure Entergy’s critical systems and assets as well as meet or exceed Entergy’s commitment and obligation to the various regulatory bodies and internal Entergy groups.

This position is expected to have operational expertise in areas of Information Security, Operational Technology, Cybersecurity, electrical power, professional auditing, and risk-based compliance processes.

This role will participate in communications with information sharing centers, and industry peers on the status of Entergy’s documentation status.

  • Organize material and complete writing assignments according to internal and external standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
  • Develop, write, and edit corporate documentation, including manuals, user guides, reference materials, process documentation, and corporate reports.
  • Assist project teams with the research, evaluation, and selection of compliance and security programs and processes.
  • Develop and enforce corporate documentation standards, style guides, and templates.
  • Use industry-standard tools and software to create structured documentation, including diagrams, flowcharts, and technical illustrations.
  • Conduct research and analyze information to produce content that meets the needs of the target audience.
  • Utilizes applicable change management methodology to assure effective implementation of documentation changes (e.g. policies, procedures, standards, etc.) changes including interfacing between multiple business units.
  • Participates in corrective action program activities including self-assessments, benchmarking and condition reporting and response.
  • Exhibits strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Proposes, develops, and writes documentation changes that improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Serves as a shared resource as required.
  • Performs other activities such as presentation development, training material development, etc.
  • Exhibits subject matter expertise in one or more areas of compliance and/or cybersecurity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in technical writing, computer science, cybersecurity, internal audit, information technology or a related discipline or equivalent work experience, Master’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of regulatory compliance and auditing experience as it relates to cyber security and/or information technology
  • Good communication skills with internal stakeholders
  • Strong writing skills
  • Experience with cybersecurity operations
  • Experience working with direct, indirect, and outsourced resources
  • Exposure to operations playbooks, run books, and performance measures
  • Some experience maintaining operations leveraging industry best practices
  • Knowledge of security ramifications of applicable regulations (NERC CIP, SOX and HIPAA)
  • Knowledge of security, risk, and control frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, FISMA & COBIT
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing events and priorities
  • Social, verbal, and written communication skills, with ability to effectively present analytical data
  • Detail oriented with the ability to interpret regulatory requests and corresponding data
  • Available to travel
  • Comfortable working in high stress and ambiguous environments
  • Capable of meeting deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data analysis, data integration, and data validation activities with large, regulated utilities or related industry preferred
  • ISACA certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA preferred

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering to lead a team of cybersecurity technologists focused on our cyber security capabilities and tooling. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our cybersecurity infrastructure and ensuring we continuously evaluate tooling effectiveness, emerging threats, and our ability to defend the security of our global workforce and digital assets.
