We are looking for a Cybersecurity Senior Reverse Engineer to join our organization.

  • Analysing and reversing malicious or suspicious files found in customer environment.
  • Providing accurate writeup and description of threats.
  • Collaborating in understanding the timeline of events during investigation.
  • Performing knowledge transfer to prepare customers to defend against today’s threat landscape.

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, and/or anomaly detection
  • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant reverse engineering work experience
  • 1+ year of knowledge of debugging and disassembly tools such as IDA Pro/HexRays, BinaryNinja, OllyDbg, x64dbg, WinDbg, Ghidra.
  • 1+ year of experience debugging x86 and x64 assembly language.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, and/or anomaly detection
  • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience debugging x86 and x64 assembly language.
  • Good understanding of packer and obfuscation techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively, and manage through ambiguity   .
  • Ability to work with the team in a customer environment.
  • Incident response.
  • Windows/Linux Forensics.
  • Cyber Threat Intelligence.
  • Developing signatures for an Antivirus vendor.
  • Databases, SQL and KQL.
  • C++, Python and JavaScript.
  • Azure and/or O365.
  • Experience with Linux/Mac threats.

Security Research IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and other fundamental network protocols.
  • Experience with firewalls and understanding firewall rule policies, rules, and best practices for securing network traffic.
  • Experience with cloud service provides such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, as well as, understanding of Cloud Networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets and security groups.
