  • Build and handle an experienced sales team in a whitespace patch.
  • Build Cohesity's complex territory strategy to ensure both short and long-term goals, objectives, and quotas for the sales managers and their teams.
  • Recruit the direct sales management team and ensure, in turn, that these managers optimally recruit, hire, develop, and run a tiered sales team.
  • Maintain good balance between developing a team and customer interfacing calls.
  • Work closely with their extended sales team (including, but not limited to SE Manager, PSO Manager, Inside Sales Manager, Channel Manager, Recruiting, etc.) to generate new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales management experience with 6 or more direct sales manager reports in a fast-paced, highly competitive, ever-changing sales environment
  • Minimum experience of 12 years in leading team quota with validated achievement
  • Confirmed ability to lead a horizontal, extended resource team to support the direct sales team
  • Extensive experience negotiating large 7 figure deals with very sophisticated terms, conditions, price pressures, and considerations
  • History of direct and indirect coordination with an internal set of multifunctional teams such as Systems Engineers, Inside Reps, Field Marketing, Professional Services, and Channel Management to ensure target quotas are achieved and exceeded
  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • Ability to travel 50%+ of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consistent track record working directly and indirectly through a management team with OEMs to build strategic and concerted sales campaigns together
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works with limited direction
  • Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and team
  • A minimum of 15+ years of related experience
  • A minimum of 10+ years directing a team of sales professionals
  • Known to work and experience as a people manager leading teams towards a common vision/strategy
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree or equivalent experience.

US Pay Range

$140,000 — $175,000 USD

Actual salary depends on many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above may be offered.   • Identifying and raising opportunities for automation to improve security operations efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively identifying and investigating issues in security controls and recommending mitigations.
  • Operating PKI services for roots, CAs and certificates throughout their lifecycle.
  • Managing PKI hardware and cryptographic devices in high security facilities.
  • Scripting using tools such as PowerShell to automate software deployment and environment configuration.
  • Conducting business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Supporting secure operations facility maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years cyber security investigations, Security Operations Center (SOC) experience, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), and operations incident response.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years PKI experience.
  • 3+ years of scripting and/or software development experience.
  • Experience operating Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
  • Experience with WebTrust certification audits.
  • Experience with physical security operations standards (e.g. ICS-705TS, NIST) * US government security clearance.

Security Operations Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Principal Security PM Architect with deep expertise in security engineering, risk assessment, and architectural design to strengthen Microsoft’s security posture. In this role, you will collaborate with security assessment teams, security engineers, and service architects to validate service architecture, propose mitigations, and track progress. You will design and implement a scalable pre-mortem framework leveraging security-by-design principles and security graph insights. You will use the framework to analyze assessments and system design to surface vulnerabilities and drive security investments. You will partner with penetration testing teams to translate findings into actionable security improvements, influence cross-company security reviews, and ensure a coordinated approach to risk mitigation at scale.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to assess security risks and drive architectural improvements.
  • Leverage Security Graph insights to analyze relationships between services, identify vulnerabilities, and prioritize security investments.
  • Define and implement a repeatable pre-mortem framework, creating a scalable playbook for proactive security risk assessments.
  • Lead security threat modeling and risk analysis efforts, mapping risks to security controls and architectural improvements.
  • Collaborate with penetration testing teams, senior service architects, and security engineers to translate security findings into actionable engineering improvements with the right level of automation and enforcement.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and drive risk mitigation efforts, ensuring security priorities align with engineering and product roadmaps.
  • Report on security risks, pre-mortem analysis outcomes, and project status in leadership reviews, stakeholder briefings, and security conferences internally.
  • Continuously improve security assessment methodologies, integrating evolving threat intelligence, security signals, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in security architecture, security engineering, technical product management, and/or risk assessment, with a strong background in designing and securing large-scale systems.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
