The Role

The Security Services Executive Consultant utilizes a unique blend of information security expertise and exceptional relationship management skills to orchestrate the client experience, enhancing cybersecurity posture and ensuring they realize the value of their NuHarbor services.

  • Drives successful outcomes, helping clients achieve maximum value from their NuHarbor investment resulting in long-term loyalty.
  • Collaborate with key client stakeholders to develop or review and refine the appropriate cybersecurity strategy, ensuring it aligns with their business goals and NuHarbor services across the client lifecycle.
  • Understand all assigned client contracts and easily speak to what services the client has with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor clients’ cybersecurity programs in order to provide strategic posture recommendations aligned to our services.
  • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity technologies, threats, and trends to ensure that the strategy is evolving, proactively updated, and remains robust.
  • Inform and educate internal stakeholders on the client experience, providing insight into how our service delivery impacts their operations and drives security outcomes.
  • Ensure renewals for existing clients are monitored and planned for as part of the sales cycle.
  • Escalate potential client risks proactively per SLA timelines and/or client feedback.

Your foundation.  The requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field. In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of experience in a cybersecurity and technology design, implementation and management is required.
  • Ten (10) years or more experience in cybersecurity with a proven record of accomplishment in a variety of domains such as endpoint protection, intrusion detection, application security, and secure networking.
  • Five (5) or more years’ leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills, with proven experience in mentoring and developing more junior cybersecurity professionals.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex cybersecurity concepts to various stakeholders, including technical teams and senior management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships especially at the Senior Leadership level.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and develop strategic plans to translate them into successful operational actions.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance framework assessment and application to related industries.
  • A Growth Mindset with the proven ability to solve problems that commonly arise in a fast growing and changing business and industry.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States.

Additional capabilities that will differentiate you for this role:

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration or cybersecurity related field of study.
  • Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) are appreciated but not required.
  • Experience in both the public and private business sectors.

The Sr. Network/Cybersecurity Engineer has proficient knowledge of developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all data networks. Ability to analyze, resolve, and report network issues and must be able to manage the proactive, operational, and reactive cybersecurity posture for enterprise. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills along with a thorough understanding of network/security architecture and administration.

  • Detect, diagnose, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN malfunctions
  • Implement, manage, and maintain IPS/IDS to protect the organization from security breaches and cyber threats
  • Configure and manage NAC systems to ensure secure access to the network by authorized endpoints
  • Ensure Change Management and other procedures are followed
  • Document network procedures and system configurations
  • Install, maintain, and configure Cisco routers/switches, firewall, VPN, VLANs
  • Install, maintain, and configure Cisco VoIP phone system, and voice mail systems

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of related IT experience
  • Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, VOIP

  • Cisco wired technologies, including switches, and routers

What a Penetration Tester does at HP:

The role is part of a talented team of security engineers and architects within HP Cybersecurity’s Architecture & Security Engineering team. Our security engineers are responsible for ensuring the security of HP products, solutions, and infrastructure. Our security engineers primarily perform manual testing with the assistance of automated tools to identify a complex set of vulnerabilities across a wide range of products and technologies.

  • Identifies HP system vulnerabilities, attacks, and threats, runs analyses on security incidents and threats, and researches appropriate countermeasures.
  • Uses knowledge of the HP environment to scope the extent and impact of any vulnerability, attack, or breach.
  • Resolves HP security issues related to security vulnerabilities, incidents, and threats through independent analysis and/or research.
  • Consults development and product teams on vulnerability remediation.
  • Develops, enhances, and maintains HP’s security solutions based on HP security system analysis, research, and incident resolution.
  • Operates as a key team member and advises on methods to improve security solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to manually review code, along with the use of automated testing tools, such as Burp Suite, is essential to locate flaws in pen testing
  • Search for weaknesses in common software, web applications and proprietary systems
  • Research, evaluate, document, and discuss findings with Cybersecurity, application, product, and management teams

  • The base pay range for this role is $102,500 to $157,850 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
