  • Motivate and manage Inside Sales leaders and reps to drive pipeline development and revenues through sales efforts leveraging the partner network
  • Provide insight and influence on the overall strategy for Cortex Cloud Sales
  • Work closely with Inside Sales leaders to drive professional development strategy for reps
  • Coordinate, direct and monitor the outbound efforts of assigned Inside Sales and Sales Development reps by tracking and reporting weekly activities
  • Collaborate with Regional, Theater and Global Sales management as well as other key leaders to identify strategies to achieve sales goals and uncover new, high value opportunities
  • Provide accurate, ongoing reporting through the continuous update and maintenance of necessary reports in Salesforce.com
  • Work closely with operations and analytics to provide forward and rear views on the business

Your Experience

  • 5+ years sales experience with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
  • Experience in the enterprise sales environment required – experience in a transactional sales environment welcomed as well
  • Proven consistent achievement of goals through the leadership and motivation of a team
  • Experience hiring, developing and retaining talent
  • Exceptional command of enterprise sales methodology and the ability to coach to it
  • Excellent communication and influence skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on many projects concurrently
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals with a serious work ethic are required
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and proficient Salesforce.com skills

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $306000/YR - $357000/YR. The Role & The Team:

The Account Executive primarily is a hunter sales role focused on selling Druva’s Data Center solutions to new prospects and existing customer accounts within a defined sales territory. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, a self-starter, detail oriented, process driven and consultative in your sales approach. You should have a consistent track record of success in achieving new customer objectives selling directly through partners and exceeding revenue targets. In addition, you should be comfortable selling a solution and technologies within a SaaS, startup environment to IT contacts at a variety of levels within an organization. Sales responsibilities include territory / pipeline management, opportunity identification, analyzing IT backup, access and collaboration requirements for mid-market enterprise clients, leading demonstrations, presentations and providing rapid response along with the Solutions Engineer to outstanding technical questions to ensure optimal customer support and service in the sales process.

  • Focus on increasing market share for Druva’s products through prospecting to accounts within assigned region
  • Leverage MEDDPICC to drive visibility and communicate what you need from the business to win
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver web-based and onsite product demos

Required Qualifications:

  • College Degree
  • 8+ years of sales experience in enterprise software sales (Backup or SaaS experience a plus). 12 + years of sales overall.
  • Demonstrate success within a small company environment: We will want to see strong and consistent earnings background
  • Excellent understanding of the sales process, and the ability to develop and execute a successful sales campaign
  • Possess a strong network, both with end-users and VARs local to the region
  • Driven, highly motivated to succeed in environments that may lack process
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong technical acumen
  • Backup experience is a requirement, security experience is a strong plus

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $241,000 and $312,667/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized, non-discriminatory factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, and equity. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program, including health and wellness benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.

What are we looking for?

As an Enterprise Account Executive covering regional accounts, you will be tasked with building out key strategic partnership with the Value added resellers as well as Key Alliance partners, and managed service partners to help drive pipeline and ultimately closed won revenue. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to design and implement successful Lead Generation and Go-to-Market campaigns, and drive overall sales excellence in a competitive endpoint security market.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience selling Endpoint security based products (such as malware/exploit prevention, anti-virus, whitelisting as well as advanced data loss protection products).

  • Run a sophisticated sales process from prospecting to closure in collaboration across the organization
  • Partner with our channel team to drive both net-new and recurring revenue
  • Partner with channel managers to build pipeline and grow revenue for the assigned territory
  • Be an influential partner for customers within the cybersecurity industry and become an expert of SentinelOne products
  • Stay well educated and informed about SentinelOne's competitive landscape and how to sell the value of our solutions and competitive differentiation
  • Prepare and provide accurate forecasts to management on a weekly basis
  • Consistently meet, or exceed sales quotas

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous experience selling to Enterprise accounts, ideally in a MEDDPICC, business-to-business SaaS environment
  • 5+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably as a Sales Executive/Manager
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both internally and externally; ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders
  • Experience closing deals with an average deal size of $500k+
  • Passionate about sales, the cybersecurity industry, and technology
  • Experience building new pipeline of customers while fostering relationships with existing customers
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity solutions sought by Enterprise customers, CISO and other C-Suite Officers
  • Ability to identify and articulate competitive differentiation and customer value proposition
  • Superb organizational and reporting skills, Salesforce experience preferred
  • Leadership skills that drive results - Fostering an ecosystem of people including sales engineers, channel, marketing, executive sponsors, immediate management, procurement, etc. to effectively advance enterprise sales campaigns to close
  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and drive to deliver above-quota performance
  • Self-motivated, constant learner, and ability to receive feedback
  • Experience working with channel and alliance partners and a strong understanding of a channel-centric GTM approaches
  • Receptive to feedback and eager to learn
  • May require extensive travel
