Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Specialist to drive the growth of our Cortex and

Cloud business across the region.

The ideal candidate will operate in a high-growth environment at scale, thrive in driving innovation,

have a solid background in cybersecurity sales, and a deep understanding of security solutions.

They will have a proven track record of developing strong customer relationships and executing

strategies that support rapid expansion and success. This role requires a strategic thinker who

excels in collaboration with internal teams, engages effectively with customers, and drives revenue

growth through the sale of complex solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales engineers, to provide tailoredcustomer-centric solutions.
  • Partner with Alliances to develop joint strategies, enhance customer engagement and deliverinnovative solutions for existing and prospective clients.
  • Travel domestically as needed to meet with customers and attend key business events.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of field sales experience focusing on key customer accounts and delivering value toEnterprise or Major-level accounts in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Extensive platform selling experience in complex sales with multiple buying centers.
  • Established trusted relationships with CIOs and CISOs with the ability to influence and drivestrategic conversations.
  • Expertise in applying complex solution sales methodologies to drive results.
  • Experience working with channel partners and a deep understanding of a channel-centricgo-to-market strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment whilecollaborating effectively with sales engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as necessary to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling SIEM, EDR or CNAPP (DevSecOps, CloudOps) solutions is highlypreferred.
  • Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion within amatrixed sales organization is preferred.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be between $256000 - $352000/YR. The Enterprise Account Executive Opportunity

The successful Okta Account Executive is a highly motivated, self-driven, and experienced Account Executive who is passionate about security and about driving protection against the biggest identity threats.

Okta’s Enterprise Sales Team manages the sales process for medium-sized customers. The team organizes and conducts sales presentations, site visits and product demonstrations to prospects and represents Okta in a consistent, effective and professional manner to best develop and win new clients and current customers.

This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment.

  • Establish a vision and plan to guide your long-term approach to net new logo pipeline generation
  • Consistently deliver revenue targets to support YoY territory growth
  • Identify, develop and execute account strategies to generate pipeline, drive sales opportunities and deliver repeatable and predictable bookings
  • Identify, target and gain access to appropriate leaders in prospect accounts, building and cultivating your network of decision makers
  • Scope, negotiate and close agreements to consistently meet and exceed revenue quota targets
  • Holistically embrace, access, and utilize Okta partners to identify and open new, uncharted opportunities

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington.   • Prospect for new business with new customers to rapidly expand given territory

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience selling to medium to large enterprises and deep current connections within strategic accounts within the Western United States + Canada (CA, AZ, WA, CO, etc)
  • Demonstrated prospecting skills for new logos - research ideal target and buying personas, outreach to those roles, leverage network for leads and referrals
  • Proven sales track record selling SaaS and exceeding quota. Experience navigating large, complex transactions that require building business value across multiple groups within an enterprise
  • Large established network of relationships with target companies in defined target markets
  • Experience with MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Technical sales understanding in the area of IP Networking, SaaS, Network Management, Observability, Forensics, Cloud
  • Heavy focus on value-based selling approach
  • Adept with modern revenue tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense, Gong, Clearbit, etc.). Take detailed notes and have that information continuously updated in Salesforce for reference
  • Highly organized, can prioritize critical tasks/projects/accounts to exceed goals
  • Capable of building strong, value-based presentations for all stages of the sales cycle, including introductory positioning, value-based product demos, and proposals with business justification + ROI positioning
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, from network engineer to CEO
  • Must reside within the territory

The base salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $170,000 with an expected overall targeted earnings (OTE) range of: $260,000 - $340,000. The salary range and OTE reflect the low and high end of the U.S. range Kentik reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role. The actual compensation offered may be lower or higher than the stated range depending on various factors, including but not limited to:
